Durante este año y pico que llevamos con versiones,
han pasado muchos grupos con temas de IRON MAIDEN...
Ante este hecho..., surge una pregunta:
¿IRON MAIDEN ...han hecho versiones a lo largo de su carrera?
Respuesta categórica : ¡Sí!.
La casi totalidad de esas versiones,están reunidas en este recopilatorio:
"Best of the "B" sides" (con Eddie ,haciendo un "calvo")
que están distribuidas en varios álbumes.
Es posible que si no eres un fan acérrimo
desconozcas la existencia de algunas de ellas

de "Rock over Beethoven" de Chuck Berry.
Ellos cambiaron la letra y el título para dedicársela
a Vic Vella ,un roadie muy amigo de la banda.
Incluso se puede oir su voz al inicio del tema.
en una conversación con Steve Harris.

En el single de vinilo "Can´t play with madness" (1986),
tenemos una muy buena versión de Thin Lizzy.
IRON MAIDEN "Massacre" (Thin Lizzy)
En 2008 se editó un tributo al tema "deeppurpliano"
"Smoke on the water" realizado por diferentes artistas,
interpretando todos el mismo tema.
Ésta fue la aportación de IRON MAIDEN.
