Sólo por haber creado ese himno del rock,
titulado "Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo "
tantas veces interpretado por él a lo largo de los años
y versionado por multitud de intérpretes,
RICK DERRINGER se merece un monumento
en el Olimpo de los Dioses del Rock,
pleitesía y gloria eterna por parte de todos los aficionados.
Siempre dispuesto a colaborar en los muchos tributos
a compañeros de profesión que circulan por el mercado discográfico
Hoy nos visita en una recopilación titulada
"The Three Kings of The Blues" (2010)
¿Pero ..., quienes son esos Tres "Kings" del Blues?.
La respuesta es muy sencilla :
B. B. King ... Freddie King ... Albert King.
Recopilación ..., porque los once temas del disco
corresponden a tres álbumes de RICK DERRINGER :
"Blues Deluxe" , "Jackhammer Blues" y "Fit for a king".
Homenaje a ellos Los Tres Reyes ...pero no todos los temas
pertenecen ni son composiciones de "Sus Majestades".
