Si eres seguidor (más o menos asíduo) a este blog,
quizás recuerdes que en la reciente entrada dedicada
a Darkest Sins, comentaba la colaboración de Esa Ahonen,
guitarrista en CRYONIC TEMPLE.
Al tiempo que andaba haciendo el post correspondiente,
me venía y pasaba constantemente la idea
de recuperar "el acorde perdido" de su segundo album
que bajo el título de "Blood,guts & glory" se editó en 2003.
Album donde el señor Esa Ahonen...se luce con las seis cuerdas.
Comenzaremos con la trilogía subtitulada"The Quest"
Un tema dividido en tres partes... alucinante.

CRYONIC TEMPLE "The midas touch/samurai-The Quest Pt. III"
Siempre tuve la sensación de que durante la primera década
del siglo XXI,se hicieron los mejores (o casi) álbumes
en la historia del power metal.
"Blood,guts & glory" ...me confirma una vez más
que mis "elecubraciones power metaleras" eran ciertas.
Lo peor del caso...es que no se les hizo mucho caso.
(Valga la redundancia y el fácil fraseo).

El grupo existe desde 1996.
Tan sólo han editado cuatro álbumes en todos estos años,
el último data del ya lejano 2008.
A pesar de ello siguen actualmente en activo.
